New Worlds is a Fantasy Text Based RolePlaying game that is played over the internet with other people via a client program called gmud or telnet.

Gmud is the preferred client all though you can find several variations of mud clients on the internet. You can also play the game via telnet by clicking the following link: telnet://newworlds-rpg.com:4002 Remember, Windows XP does not support port access with telnet.

In order to play the game with gmud, a game client, you can click on this link Gmud Direct Play or to download and run from your computer, save the 4 files listed here and run the file called gmud.exe:

New Worlds is a game loosely based on the book entitled, "The Light of the Path" and can be viewed as a text file in a seperate window by clicking the image below.

This game is now in Beta testing. The change from Alpha means that all the rules of the game now apply, with strict roleplaying and politics and you no longer need permission to come on.

Beta is for the builders to find further balancing and make some modifications to the structure of the game and it also means that some areas may be closed.
